Dancehall superstar Beenie Man and his fiancee, Camille Lee, have fired back at explosive allegations made by Beenie Man's daughter, Desha Ravers, who accused the legendary ' Sim Simma' artiste of being a "poor father".

In a blistering joint statement, the couple dismissed Desha's claims as malicious lies, rooted in jealousy and betrayal.

"The gravity of these unfounded accusations has left us both startled and deeply hurt, as they stem from a place of envy and betrayal," the statement read.

Lee, a businessmwoman who got engaged to Beenie Man last year after two years of dating, said her man has been active in the lives of his 13 children. She said that Desha, 34, has lived in the family home and received support from them over the years.

"Despite our efforts to provide her with a stable environment, her recent actions have been distressing and disheartening," Lee said.

"I am hurt for her dad more than myself," Lee said.

"Beenie Man is currently processing the emotional turmoil caused by these allegations. As a father, he has always prioritised his children's well-being, and this betrayal has left him feeling hurt, puzzled, and lost. We ask for the public's understanding and respect for his need for time to heal," Lee said.

The rift reportedly surrounds a 'house-gift' dispute with Desha, a dancer, claiming her father had promised her a space in his St Andrew property. She said he rescinded the offer after she started showing interest in the space.
