Man shot near to police station

STAR WriterA man is now nursing gunshot wounds to his groin and leg after he was shot in Mandeville, Manchester yesterday evening, police have confirmed.
Reports are that the man got into an altercation with another, who then shot him and fled the scene, the police said.
The incident occurred about 6 p.m. at a bar on Hotel Street, a stone throw away from the Mandeville Police Station, the police said.
Commander in charge of the Manchester police division, Vendolyn Cameron Powell, said the police were quick on the scene however the accused man was not caught.
The police say they are conducting further investigations, as they continue their search for the shooting suspect.
