Woman charged in 8-y-o's murder remanded
Kayodi Satchell, the 30-year-old dental assistant who was arrested in relation to the abduction and murder of eight-year-old Danielle Rowe, was remanded in custody on Wednesday when she appeared before the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court.
Satchell appeared before parish judge Carlo Mason for a committal proceeding, where she is charged with murder and abduction.
It was reported that on June 8, Rowe was abducted from her school in Braeton, St Catherine.
She was later found with her throat slashed on Roosevelt Avenue in Kingston and was transported to the Bustamante Hospital for Children, where she died two days later.
Satchell, was remanded in custody until October 4, when a bail application is expected to be heard. She was made the subject of a fingerprint order.
