Security officer charged with larceny

Detectives attached to the Kingston East police have charged 31-year-old Donovan McFarlane, a security officer of Portmore, St Catherine, with simple larceny following an incident on Windward Road, Kingston, on November 24.

Reports from the Rockfort police are that about 3:59 p.m., McFarlane allegedly entered a woman's shop and stole US$600 (approximately J$92,808) along with $125,500 from her purse. A report was made to the police and McFarlane was arrested and later charged. His court date is being finalised.
