After a successful debut partnership last year, VP Records says it is proud to be back on board with Beach Road Trip (BRT) Weekend for their 2018-2019 tour.

This year, in addition to the deejay contest which is now in its second year, VP Records will be joining BRT on each leg of their tour, and will be an integral part of branding at the marquee events.

In an interview with THE STAR, Jennifer Valentin, PR at VP Records, said that the company decided on a renewed partnership with BRT because both their brands represent the best of Caribbean culture.

"We wanted to be in alignment with BRT because the brand has built a loyal and large following over the five years they have been around. We feel that this is a great way for VP Records to connect with patrons attending BRT and introduce them to some of our new projects," she said.

"They (BRT) represent Caribbean culture at its best and provide a fun yet safe environment for dancehall/reggae and soca enthusiasts. We strongly feel that the brand is only going up from here. We are excited to be on this journey with them again."

The first tour on this year's BRT party weekend will be held in the Dominican Republic from May 3 to 6, and will feature appearances by Shenseea, Beenie Man and Ding Dong. V Maui Wowi: Beach Bonfire, Xtreme Wet N Wild Water Party, the BRT Glow Wonderland, the J'Ouvert Breakfast Party and the BRT All White! Grand Finale are some of the major events held annually over the weekend.
