Billboard chart-topping record producer Troyton has collaborated with Grammy award-winning artiste Sean Paul and international dancehall artiste Mavado for a new single called 'I'm Sanctify'.

The song, which is featured on Troyton's Dancehall Symphony riddim, came as a surprise for the producer, who revealed that both artistes were initially supposed to record solo singles for the project.

"I sent both artistes the beat. I was hoping for two singles in return," he said, pointing out that the country's crime problem was the main reason behind the collab.

"Mavado actually had one single recorded, but we changed our minds on the basis of what is happening in our beloved country of Jamaica. We decided to take another route and bring back a kind of I'm On The Rock vibe, wailing to the heavens," he explained.

He described I'm Sanctify as a song that advocates for peace in the island.

"We were in studio and Mavado was freestyling some spiritual, positive, and inspirational lyrics. He was saying, 'hey, Jah know, Jah know, I'm blessed, I'm sanctify'. And as he was belting the words, Sean Paul walked in the studio, and it was like destiny. He just chimed in right away singing his lines to the song."

Troyton told THE WEEKEND STAR that the chemistry between Sean Paul and Mavado seemed ordained by a higher power.

"I noticed that something special was happening, but I didn't say anything. Everyone in the studio was looking at each other silently. It was Jahmiel who pointed out what was happening as we all seemed to be in a spiritual and musical trance," he said. "As we absorbed what was taking place, I knew right away. It all made sense, and, without hesitation, both Sean Paul and Mavado took turns in the booth. It was magic, great vibes. If you listen to the song, it's charismatic, and I hope that it translates to the listeners."
