Knife tricks, fiery display bring life to Summit
Knife-wielding and fire-breathing stuntmen from Ocho Rios, St Ann, were some of the highlights of a hot Summit Anniversary Pool Party at the Horizon, 72 Plateau Rise in Woodland Heights, Red Hills, on Sunday.
"I'm shocked and overwhelmed, to be honest," said Derricha from Cooreville Gardens, as she commented on the entertainment package that went on at the poolside. She added that "the element of surprise" was a good addition to the party experience. "I didn't expect these knife tricks and fiery displays. It's just awesome," she said.
At the Summit venue, which had a breathtaking view of Kingston below, there were many women either strutting their stuff for all to see or gyrating to the musical offering from the disc jocks on the bill.
Shaughn Wright, the promoter of the event, said: "The support was greatly appreciated. Summit third anniversary was epic. The layout was great and the vibe consistently grew as the party went on, and it got to a point where no one wanted to leave."
