Man on cocaine charge remanded

A man who was reportedly held with more than two pounds of cocaine was remanded in Corporate Area Resident Magistrate?s Court.

Charged with possession and dealing is Kevin Glendon.

It is alleged that on September 4 last year, police on operation in the Kingston 5 area saw Glendon outside his house.

He attempted to hide a bag he had in bushes, but it was retrieved and found to contain rectangular package wrapped in masking tape. When the package was cut, powdery substance resembling cocaine was seen.

The accused was arrested and charged.

The court heard that additional documents were needed for the case to be tried.

Glendon returns to court on November 18.
