Man killed in Central Village

Police personnel from the St Catherine South division are now searching for person\s responsible for the murder of a man yesterday.

Up to last evening the murder scene was being processed.

Reports are that about 4 p.m. explosions were heard in an area known as 'Compound'. Checks by the residents revealed that a man was shot.

The police were summoned, and upon their arrival, the body was seen in a pool of blood.

Investigators later cordoned off the area as they searched for forensic evidence.

Up to press time, the police were not able to identify the deceased.
