Police still in hospital after accident

Up to yesterday a member of the St Catherine South Police Traffic Department remained hospitalised following a vehicular accident on Sunday.

He is Constable Alanzo Brown, who is attached to the Central Village Police Station in St Catherine.

It is reported are that on Sunday at about 2:30 p.m. Brown was driving Suzuki motor cycle along St Johns Road in St Catherine.

Upon reaching a section of the road, he lost control of the bike he was driving and reportedly collided in the back of a Toyota motor car that was travelling in front of him.

The policeman sustained serious injuries to his left leg. He was taken to the Spanish Town Hospital where he was admitted in a serious condition.
