School distances itself from sex tape

A prominent Corporate Area high school is seeking to distance itself from a sex tape which has been circulating, allegedly involving a student and a practising teacher at the school.

In recent weeks, a two-minute, 30-second-long video has been circulating via various social media platforms,

featuring a male and a female visibly engaged in sexual intercourse. The video seems as if it was being filmed by the male.

The amateur footage is being circulating with a story claiming the male student and female practising teacher were involved in a relationship and that it eventually ended. It is said further that the heartbroken student posted the video out of revenge.

However, when THE STAR contacted the principal of the school implicated in the sex tape, he said he could not recognise either persons in the video and noted that none of his colleagues could identify the individuals.

He also said he consulted with persons who have been on staff at the institution for more than 30 years and they did not recognise the individuals as any teacher or student attached to the school.

"I don't even know how that video is attached to us [the school], but it seems our name is easy to call," he said.

Despite the principal's denial of the persons in the video being associated with the school, people on social media seem convinced by the story which accompanied the video, and voiced their opinion in that regard.

One commenter said, "Not good. If it is true that it's a teacher with a student, that's bad."

Another added, "I care zero if it real or not, but [school's name] mi done represent fi unuh now!"
