Two students, a male and female, who both attend the Naggo Head Primary in Portmore, were hit while crossing the roadway near the school in separate incidents yesterday.

"In the first incident, the boy ran across the road, near to the bus stop and was hit by a car and he fell to the ground. The driver took him to get medical attention", a staff member at the school said.

The STAR gathered that in the second incident, the female student was allowed to cross by one motorist and while doing so, another motorist overtook the line of traffic and hit her.

She was not seriously hurt.
