Downtown loader man goes missing

The family of 27-year-old Magash McIntosh, who has been missing for a little over a month, is offering an undisclosed reward and hoping for his safe return.

Magash, who worked as a loader man in downtown Kingston, was last seen alive on Friday, April 8, according to his older sister.

In an interview with THE WEEKEND STAR, the sister, who requested that her name be withheld, said: "My brother is very loved and very missed. I am not coping very well. I try my best to just take it one day at a time".

She finds it hard to believe that Magash, who ventured on a daily basis to the Orange Street where he loads buses across from Captain's Bakery, did not return home that Friday. "He always comes home," she said.

Our news team was told that Magash lives on Wildman Street in Central Kingston with his mother and other siblings.

"She (his mother) not taking it well. It was her first Mother's Day that he was absent," the sister revealed.

When asked by our news team if the family has gone to his most frequent locations to ask about him, she said, yes. "Some say they saw him on Friday, April 8 and some say they didn't see him," she told THE WEEKEND STAR in a sombre tone.

Magash reportedly has no children. Colourful flyers bearing his image have been posted at several bus terminals throughout the Corporate Area.

THE WEEKEND STAR was told that a missing person report was filed with the Kingston Central Police Station

A detective corporal at the station's CIB confirmed that an official report was made there on April 9.
