One man has been arrested in connection with the brutal murder of the two United States missionaries in St Mary in May.

Information reaching our news team is that AndrE Thomas was charged with two counts of murder yesterday morning.

According to Assistant Commissioner of Police Ealan Powell, Thomas is to answer to the charges in court soon.

Investigators are also seeking another man, Dwight Henry, also called 'Dougy', in relation to the crime.

The disclosure was made during a press conference at the Police Officers' Club in St Andrew.

"We dearly want to speak to him," Powell said.

Henry was also given until 6 p.m. today to turn in himself to the Port Maria police.

THE WEEKEND STAR gathered that the US Embassy has been notified about the developments.

Meanwhile, Harold Nichols, 53, and 48-year-old Randy Hentzel were found dead days apart in the Albion Mountain region of the north eastern parish.

They had left home to visit a house they were building.

The issue garnered international attention and US law enforcements became actively involved in the investigations.
