An 11-month-old baby is battling for life in hospital after gunmen riddled a house with bullet on lower Mall Road, Kingston 11, yesterday.

Three persons, including the baby's 17-year-old mother were killed in the attack.

The mother - Daniquea Graham - and two other men were pronounced dead moments after they arrived at the Kingston Public Hospital.

According to the corporate communication unit of the JCF, the three murders have increased the number of killings in the corporate area yesterday to five. Two men were killed in Trench Town and Payne Land before the Mall Road incident.

THE STAR understands that the attack took place shortly after an affiliate of Graham and another man got into an argument. The man reportedly left the scene and returned with a gun and sprayed the house with bullets.

It is reported that the baby was hit in the abdomen.

At the KPH last night, a relative of Graham pondered the question of who will take care of the baby now that its mother is dead.

"Baby can live without mother?" the relative questioned.

She said: "She nuh live nuh life yet. She is just 17."
