Man damages car over fight

A Kingston man pleaded guilty in the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court after he was accused of destroying the windscreen on a car which belongs to his girlfriend's babyfather.

Lloyd Davidson pleaded guilty to malicious destruction of property.

Davidson told the court that he committed the act because the complainant has been bragging that he beat him up in a fight.

"Mi and him babymother inna tings, and him come a di place and see me and chuck mi inna mi face," Davidson told the court. "Mi low it, but him a walk and a tell people, so mi mash up him vehicle."

He is to be sentenced tomorrow.

He was told to bring $20,000 to court to repay the complainant for the damage.
