The Centre for the Investigation of Sexual Offences and Child Abuse (CISOCA) is carrying out investigations regarding an alleged incident of buggery of a minor in Clarendon.

Head of the Clarendon Police Division, Senior Superintendent Glenford Miller, confirmed that the police are probing the incident.

Reports are that about 5 p.m. on March 4, the complainant was walking through bushes when he saw the accused man who offered him $1,000 to play with his penis.

The boy ran off, but the accused told him he was joking and so he stopped. However, it is alleged that the accused then pushed the boy to the ground and began touching him inappropriately, after which he pulled down the boy's shorts and buggered him. Miller told THE STAR the accused is known to the complainant.

"Where that incident is concerned, we got an alias and we started investigations already, and we are trying to get him in custody. It is someone actually known in the community. We are trying to get that information sorted out," the senior police said.
