Beating leaves man unconscious

Two St Elizabeth residents have been charged with wounding with intent in relation to an incident at a business establishment in Morningside Square, on February 22.

Charged are 29-year-old disc jockey Fitzroy Thomas, otherwise known as 'J-Cool', of Portsea district, Red Bank, and 22-year-old Tisana Adams, otherwise called 'Sara', of Rose Hall district. Reports are that at 1:30 a.m., an argument developed between Thomas and a man while they were at the business establishment. Thomas and Adams reportedly attacked the man and beat him until he became unconscious. The man was assisted to the hospital where he was treated and released.

A report was made to the police and the duo was taken into custody where they were charged. A court date is being arranged for them.
