I am sad and frustrated

Dear Pastor,

First, I would like to commend you on the job you are doing by giving your fatherly advice. I pray the Good Lord will continue to guide and protect you.

I am a young lady. I live with my relatives, specifically my mother and siblings. I also have a daughter but she lives with her dad who is taking care of her right now.

My mother has three of us and I am the only one who has never been disrespectful to her. Whenever she starts to argue I just walk away, but for some reason I think she doesn't really like me as much as the others. She built them their own rooms but I'm living in a room that is adjoined to a bar that she operates.

I started to build a room at the back of her house but it's not yet completed. I had a job but it has become so hard since I got laid off. I am currently seeking a job but I am not yet successful.

I try to keep myself happy but deep down I am so sad and frustrated. I have started to develop suicidal thoughts because I am unable to pay my bills.

Pastor, this is not a letter asking for advice, I just want to vent and hope you could pray for me.

I have also made a GoFundMe account seeking a little assistance. This is not like me, but I am on my face, drowning in sorrow. I don't have a boyfriend, so there's no one to help me in any sort of way. Any help would be appreciated.

I regret hearing that you are unhappy. You have declared that you are not asking for advice. Nevertheless, I would take the liberty to let you know that you should bring your shortcomings before God.

You are not perfect and it is unwise to blame your mother for much of what you are suffering. You should not judge her by saying that she does not like you as much as your siblings. It is regrettable that you have had suicidal thought. Talk to God about how you feel. If you are depressed, you should seek the help of a counsellor or a psychologist.

Personally, we are publishing your letter because we want all readers to remember you in prayer. God is able to give you deliverance and provide a job for you. We cannot publish the GoFundMe link that you have sent to us because we can't verify that you are speaking the absolute truth. Don't be upset with us, we have to protect ourselves.
