'Breeze' producer, Jayds, hoping for breakthrough

Fresh from a multitude of performances across the Caribbean with fellow artiste Aidonia, 4th Genna recording artiste, Jayds says he plans on capitalising on the strong presence his camp is currently enjoying in the dancehall space.

His colleagues, Aidonia and Govana, are doing well individually, and Jayds intends on also making his mark on the local music scene. He said he is hoping his latest single, Keep Har, will help him to do just that.

Back in the island after making appearances in Antigua, The Bahamas, Guyana and St Lucia, the entertainer has embarked on a heavy promotional regime, hoping to get the song increased visibility.

"Right now, I'm rolling out the Jamaican leg of the campaign, so you can expect to see increased visibility on the various local platforms," he said.

"As part of my promotional campaign, I make sure to include it in my set during every performance, and the response has been very positive, especially from the ladies."

Although the song is relatively new, Jayds said that the feedback has been tremendously positive, and he believes the song will continue to grow in popularity.

"It's a great song with a nice visual, and the fans are steadily embracing it," he said.

A music video for the single was shot and directed by Magical Studios. And according to the entertainer's team, the video will intrigue viewers as it shows Jayds as a "rogue playboy ensnaring his female prey with sheer charm and wit as he warns his male counterparts to keep their ladies close."

However, Jayds is no stranger to the dancehall scene, and is best known for the song Weh We Come From. He is also an accomplished producer, as he is the man behind Aidonia and Govana's hit, Breeze.
