Singjay Damian Grant, who goes by the somewhat unusual moniker Arthritis, says he is ready to let his voice be heard in a major way.

The entertainer feels that he is ready to ditch all the adjectives and phrases that suggest that he is always getting there, but can never quite reach his goal. Instead, he wants to embrace descriptions that see him simply as a full-fledged artiste.

“I am a singjay. I am an artiste, and one who has talent. I am not blowing my own horn, I am only accepting the things that producers and others who know about the music have told me,” Arthritis said.

The entertainer said that he is hungry for fame and all that it entails, but he is keen on trying to learn as much as possible about the music business.

CAREER DIFFERENCE

Meanwhile, Arthritis is excited about the feedback he has been getting for his re-released single, Hungry, that was done on the ‘Brick Tears’ Rhythm. His most recent single, appropriately titled Nah Give Up, is on the ‘River Water’ Rhythm and is produced by Panther. He believes that this song could make a huge difference in his career.

Arthritis, who says he was given his stage name by comedic duo Twin of Twins, is not a bit concerned that his stage name is also the name of an illness. He pointed out that there are many artistes internationally who have names that are not exactly complimentary, and they have shot to stardom nonetheless. He asserts that he was given that name, not as a diss, but because he is so ‘bad’ musically - in a good way.

The entertainer appears on Twin Of Twins’ Stir It Up Vol. 10, and he gives credit to the duo for helping him to begin his journey in the music business.
