Jahvillani is sending a bold, no-holds-barred message to the youth with his latest single, Haad Ayse Pickney, which is packed with raw street wisdom and life lessons.

"This song is about growing up as a juvenile in the streets where it's a dog-eat-dog world," Jahvillani explained.

"The message to the youths is basically to just keep your head on your body and be mindful of the things you do. Being around bad company and not listening to your parents, who want the best for you, will definitely lead you astray," he said.

The artiste goes even further, breaking down the meaning behind the title: "Watch the friends you keep because those same friends will turn on you for their own benefit. In a nutshell, haad ayse pickney, if you don't hear, you will feel."

Produced by YGF Records and Scotty's Muzik, the track, which is featured on the Buried Alive Riddim, was officially released on November 15.

"My hope for this song is to create something that the youths can listen to deeply and realise this is real life, and this is something that happens every day. I'd want it to tell a story, evoke emotions, and maybe even inspire someone," Jahvillani shared.

Known for his success both locally and internationally, Jahvillani has made significant strides in his musical career with hits such as Wileside Government, Nuh Reason, Sunday To Sunday, and Clarks Pon Foot.

Looking ahead, the artiste is focused on continuing his musical journey. "Right now, I'm just focusing on releasing new songs and really pushing my career forward. I've been in the studio a lot, putting in the work, collaborating with other artistes. It's all about finding that perfect vibe and connecting with my audience," he said.
