Police probe murder in Seaview Gardens
The St Andrew South police have launched a probe into an incident which occurred in Seaview Gardens, St Andrew, that left one man dead and another nursing injuries.
Up to press time, the dead man was still unidentified.
Reports are that at about 8 p.m. on Tuesday, both men went to visit another man on Pacific Boulevard in the area and were pounced upon by armed men who opened fire hitting them multiple times.
Our news team gathered that the deceased is of dark complexion, about 183 cm long, sports a plaited hairstyle and appears to be in his late 20s. The deceased was also wearing a cast on his left arm, which had an angel tattoo with the word 'Demar' written on it.
THE STAR understands that the police were alerted after residents heard loud explosions.
Both men were rushed to hospital where one was pronounced dead and the other admitted in stable condition.
The Hunts Bay police are investigating.
