Alleged contract killer dies after being stabbed by victim

An alleged contract killer, who was disarmed and stabbed by one of two men he shot at a shop on Monday, died the following day from injuries he sustained during the encounter that left one of his victims dead.

Information reaching THE WEEKEND STAR is that the alleged contract killer has been identified as Lincoln 'Daddy Links' Francis of a Greenwich Farm address in St Andrew.

The attack took place at a shop in Muirton Pen, near Reach in Portland.

According to police reports, Francis was stabbed repeatedly during a tussle between him and one of his gunshot victims.

DISARMED GUNMAN

Our news team understands that Francis entered the establishment and ordered cigarettes before opening fire.

After being struck, it is said that one of the injured men, who is now in hospital, managed to disarm Francis.

He was held until the police arrived to take him into custody.

THE WEEKEND STAR was told that Francis was held with a 9mm Beretta pistol and two magazines containing several rounds of ammunition.

Meanwhile, residents of the usually quiet community are currently mourning the death of 28-year-old farmer, Ryan Sinclair, of Reach district.

Investigators theorise that based on preliminary findings, Sinclair's death may have been a contract killing.

Our news team gathered that at the time of the incident, Francis, Sinclair, and another man had a murder case before the Portland Parish Court.
