Portmore and Spanish Town communities expected to get back water today

The National Water Commission (NWC) is reporting that residents of Portmore, Spanish Town and its environs in St Catherine should soon be experiencing gradual restoration of their water supply service as the network currently recharges.  

The NWC says full resumption of water supply is expected by late afternoon. 

The commission says it has successful restarted  operations at the Spanish Town,  Green Acres, Eastern Headworks Wells,  Little Greendale,  Waterloo and Friendship facilities in St  Catherine, and continuing remedial works at other facilities.
