Friend’s brother introduced me to porn

Dear Pastor,

I am having a problem. I don't know if you can help me. I have been a Christian from I was a child.

I taught Sunday school and I sang on the choir. People in my community looked up to me. When I was 19 years old, I fell. I went to Kingston to spend part of my summer with a girlfriend. My friend had a brother and we hit it off well. I found myself falling in love with him. He used to take out his sister and I, and whenever we came home, his sister would go to bed and the both of us were alone together for hours watching movies. It was the first time I was watching PornHub.

This man was not a Christian and one night while we were there watching porn, he pushed his hand into my underwear and I tried to remove it, but it appeared as if I was incapable of doing so. So he continued to do it. This is my confession to you; it felt so good. So while we were looking at porn, we were practising what we were looking at.

I told his sister what he did to me and she said both of us are big people, so it was up to me. But she realised that I liked her brother, and while we were on the couch, she peeped out and saw that both of us were playing with each other. I felt embarrassed to know that she saw us. I apologised to her and told her that I was going to cut my visit short because as a Christian, I should not be doing that in her house. She said it was better for me to play around with her brother than to go to somebody outside. Before I left to return to the country, I had sex with him twice and he impregnated me. The only disappointment I have is that he did not marry me and he is now living in the United States of America.

The people in my community could not believe that I had fallen into sin. I love my son and he loves me. I have never been married, and it does not seem as if that is going to happen at all.

You cannot change what has already happened. You came into Kingston to spend time with your girlfriend and you fell in love with her brother. Both of you got into mischief and he got you pregnant. Unfortunately, he didn't marry you, but you are happy to have a son. I am sure that you are back at church. You have learnt from your mistake. I wish you well. Continue to take good care of yourself.
