'Jockey' shot and killed in Portmore, St Catherine

The St Catherine South police have launched an investigation into the gun slaying of a man in Portmore on Thursday.

He has been identified as 34-year-old Jerome Lynch, otherwise called 'Jockey', of Waterford, Portmore, St Catherine.

It is reported that about 11:30 a.m. Lynch was walking along Waterford Parkway in the vicinity of a car wash when he was shot and killed by unknown assailants.
