Water supply to be suspended to some St Elizabeth communities

The National Water Commission (NWC) is advising that operation at its Hounslow Pump Station in St Elizabeth will be suspended on Friday from 06:00 a.m to 4:00 p.m. 

This is to facilitate urgent repairs to the 12" transmission main in the Bethany area of the parish. 

As a result, NWC is informing that customers served by the facility will experience a disruption in their water supply and are encouraged to store water for use during the period.

Areas to be impacted include Hopewell, Greenfield, Pondside, Hill Top, Bigwoods, Bethany, Short Hill, Hounslow, Newell, Barbary Hall, Brownberry, Stonefield, Brucefield and Cherry Gardens.
