Ammunition found in fowl coop

The St Catherine North police and the Jamaica Defense Force have seized several rounds of ammunition hidden in a fowl coop on a premises in Spanish Town on Sunday.

The discovery was made during a series of operations by the authorities in St Catherine.

Reports from the Spanish Town police are that about 10: 00 a.m., lawmen went on the property in Morgans Lane, where five rounds of .38 ammunition and five 12

gauge cartridges were found in the fowl coop.

No one was held in connection to the find.

Investigation continues.
