Certain that rainy night sex got me pregnant

Dear Pastor,

I am 25 years old and I am married. My husband and I have a wonderful relationship.

We always discuss why sex is so enjoyable at nights when it is raining. My husband doesn't have to do much to turn me on, and I don't have to do much to turn him on. Just the little drops of rain on the roof are good enough; that makes him go crazy. I go more than crazy, and I don't want the rain to stop. Sometimes when the rain stops, I say to my husband, "I hope it will continue raining."

At the moment I am pregnant, and I am sure that I got pregnant after having sex with him on a rainy night. I couldn't get him to stop at all. The truth is, I didn't want him to stop. The doctor says that I might be carrying twins. That would be something extra for us to remember this trip. My husband has been trying to get me pregnant for two years, but nothing happened. We enjoy having sex while it is raining so much that we are wondering if it's something magical about rain and sex.

My husband said he believes that I was totally relaxed, so he would like more rain to come whenever we are making love. Please help us to settle this issue between my husband and I on whether rain plays a vital part in lovemaking.

I cannot give any scientific data as to whether rain has any effect on a couple when they are engaged in lovemaking. We have heard many times that couples seem to enjoy the act more when it is raining. Perhaps it is something in the mind. Your husband suggested to you that you were totally relaxed while having sex, and as a result, you got pregnant. You had only one thing in mind and that was having a good time, and it paid off.
