Elderly landlady trying to steal my boyfriend

Dear Pastor,

I am 19 years old and my boyfriend, who is 27, he and I are living together. I was living with my mother, but she put me out because she did not like my boyfriend.

My mother lives with a man and he does not like me because he asked me for sex and I turned him down. When I told my mother that he asked me to go to bed with him she told me that she did not believe me. She questioned him in my presence and he called me a liar and he said I was trying to blackmail him. I was speaking the truth.

He has attempted to get me to sleep with him more than once. He said he was the one supporting me, so he couldn't understand why I refused to give him what he wanted. I told him that if he was tired of my mother, he could always go outside and pay for it because women are everywhere. He responded by saying that he knew I wasn't seeing other men, but if he went outside to pay for sex, he would be putting himself at risk because not all men use condoms when visiting prostitutes.

I got fed up with him because the moment my mother is not at home, or if he came home and saw me alone, he would ask me for sex. He started to tell lies on me because I have a boyfriend and he told my mother that he came in one day and saw my boyfriend and I having sex.

Pastor, that was not true. My boyfriend and I have never had sex in my mother's house. My mother believed what he said, so she turned me out. My boyfriend and I rented a one bedroom place in the Kingston 6 area. It is a very good area. This lady lives alone. She is 70 years old and she rented the place to us. It was my boyfriend who got the place and he told her it was two of us; himself and his fiancee. She said that would be alright. The place is not cheap, its $21,000 per month just for one bedroom, a bathroom and a kitchenette. This woman does not act her age. She is always talking sexy things before us and telling me how much I should take care of my fiance. She says that she is old but she is not cold and she would take him away from me. I asked her how would she take him away and she said if I don't treat him right, she will.

I caught her peeping at us from her side of the apartment, so I put a heavy curtain to block that area off and she was not pleased. I told her that she should go and find a man in her age group and she said that she is seeking a young man. She says her husband was 10 years older than her and he can hardly keep up with her.

Sometimes she cooks and offer dinner to us, but I throw away the dinner. I don't want my man to eat anything from her. I know it is better for us not to take the dinner than to take it and throw it away. I don't trust this old lady. We are hoping to find another place to rent. We would love to find a two bedroom place because there are times when we would like to have friends come by and this place is too small for us to entertain guest. My boyfriend said that these type of women who are after young boys throw themselves on the young guys and the young guys use them and leave them. He would not do that to this lady because he has to respect older women and she is as old as his mother.

It was unfortunate that your mother did not believe the complaint that you made against your step-father. She told you that she believed that you were lying on him. Probably he was happy to hear her defend him.

Many mothers have caused their daughters to hate them because they refuse to believe that their men approach them for sex. Some don't approach them, but they raped their daughters and step-daughters.

You are now living with a man and the landlady believes that she should get emotionally involved with him. She is too out of order. I wish you well as you try to find another place to rent. I get so many calls from older women who have gotten involved with young men. I do not understand why these older women find great pleasure in entertaining young guys sexually. They spend a lot of money on these young guys, but I am glad that your man did not fall for the landlady.
