Stolen diapers found in murder victim's car
The Kingston East police are now trying to determine whether the murder of a man on Windward Road this morning is linked to a quantity of stolen diapers that was found in his car.
Jermaine Singh, 40, of Graham Road, Kingston 6, was shot and killed about 4 a.m.
"The motor vehicle was found on the premises of a warehouse. It had in it diapers that we believe me have been stolen," Deputy Superintendent Christopher Brown, the crime officer for the Kingston Eastern Police, told The STAR.
"We have since been in contact with the owner [of the diapers] and are actively trying to make progress with the case," he added.
Brown, however, declined to give further details, explaining that the investigations are at a delicate stage.
Reports are that residents heard explosions and called the police. On their arrival, Singh’s bullet riddled body was found on the ground.
No one has been arrested in relation to the murder.
