STAR of the Month: Wedding bells in Beenie's future?

Having walked down the aisle with his now estranged wife Michelle 'D'Angel' Downer in 2006, entertainer Beenie Man said he is not opposed to tying the knot again.

With his relationship with communications expert and motivational speaker Krystal Tomlinson going strong for almost three years, the STAR of the Month was asked if he would be popping the question to his current lady love anytime soon.

Pointing out that he is not opposed to the idea of marriage and the commitment that comes with it, the entertainer said that if he has any plans to jump the broom in the near future, he will make sure his fans across the world are looped in on the decision.

"When dat a happen, unuh will know," he said, pointing out that his relationship is going strong. "My woman and I are good, happy and when we take that step everyone will know about it."

DIVORCE NOT FINAL

When asked whether or not his divorce from D'Angel has been finalised, the deejay revealed that although all the necessary paperwork has been filed, the two remain separated, but they are not divorced as yet.

"We nuh fully divorced yet, but it's on the verge of coming through. The papers in, a just the stamp of approval it need to get and that's it," he told THE WEEKEND STAR.

The last time the entertainer tied the knot, he did so under the watchful eyes of Jamaicans who were perhaps excited at the fact that two entertainers were getting hitched.

If Beenie Man decides to get married again though, the public spectacle might be missing, as he explained that he and his current partner are perhaps at a stage in their lives where they would rather enjoy the special moment with close family and friends.

Beenie Man and Krystal made their union public in 2016, but the two had been dating a year before that. In an October 2016 article, Tomlinson made it known that the two were serious when she revealed that she had got the entertainer to quit smoking and submit to a healthier lifestyle.

Since then, Beenie Man has transformed into quite the family man as snippets of him on social media show the entertainer spending more time with his partner and his children. If the couple do decide to tie the knot, it perhaps wouldn't come as a shock to many who have been watching their relationship unfold.
