My dead wife keeps haunting my women

Dear Pastor,

I am 49 years old, and I am having a problem. I was married for 15 years to a spiritual woman. She died, two years ago. And ever since she died some strange things have been happening.

I got involved with three different women, and when they come to the house that my wife and I lived in, they don't stay. The first one told me that while she and I were in bed, she saw a shadow, and when she opened her eyes, it was my wife looking at her. I asked her how she could see her and the room was dark. She said she saw the shadow of my wife and it was real.

SMELLING HER PERFUME

Pastor, sometimes I am at home and I can smell my wife's perfume. I know when she is visiting the home. Sometimes I could hear her coughing or moving around in the kitchen.

Another woman who did not know my wife came to spend a weekend with me, and the Saturday morning she said she felt like someone came between the both of us and was pushing her off the bed.

I went to see a spiritual lady and she told me that my wife's soul is not at rest, and I am to be blamed because I have found new lovers too soon, and she is upset with me. That is why she came between the woman and me on the bed, and watching over the other girl. I was told what to do, but it is going to cost me, and I have to treat the house in and out.

I don't know if you believe in these things Pastor, but I want to be free.

My daughter came with her children. She is married, but she came for a few days, and I was telling her that sometimes her mother visits me. She took it as a big joke and told me I should read my Bible. Her mother was never a bad woman.

Pastor, do you know what I can do to get my wife's spirit out of the house? I cannot make her run away every woman that I bring here.

Dear V.L.,

Let me make it absolutely clear to you, I do not believe that the dead has any power. When a person is dead, that's it. The Bible says, "For the living know that they will die; but the dead know nothing, and they no longer have a reward [here], for the memory of them is forgotten. Indeed their love, their hatred and their zeal have already perished, and they will no longer have a share [in this age] in anything that is done under the sun." (Ecclesiastes 9.5-6)

I want you to know that there are some people who will not agree with me. There are a lot of people who believe that the spirit of the dead is roaming around. You seem to believe that your deceased wife visits you from time to time and is annoyed with you. I am sorry you feel that way. And it is also regrettable that you are wasting your money trying to get this woman's spirit out of your life.

You are going to need the money that you are wasting on people you believe that can help you. What you need is God in your life. Your imagination is running away with you. Your daughter is correct, you should read your Bible and pray.
