Prisoner seeks pen pal

July 15, 2019

Dear Pastor,

I hope this letter reaches you and you are in sound mind and spirit. I am writing to you because I am an avid reader of your column.

In fact, your column is the only column I read in THE STAR.

Oftentimes, I am amazed by some of the stories about women who seem to be motivated by financial security and blame their infidelity on the men.

I know that there must be loyal women out there, but the ones I read about are gold-diggers.

Pastor, I am a 35-year-old who has been incarcerated for nine years, with more time to go. I haven't heard from my family members and friends since the inception of my incarceration. And because of that, it gets lonely without anyone to talk to.

Thankfully, though, I still have all my facilities intact. But I would really appreciate you if you could find someone who is God-fearing, genuine and understanding to correspond with me on a mature, adult level.

We are now allowed to send and receive emails, but the person who is to be my contact must download the free jail pay app and purchase electronic stamps. They can send stuff like Videogram and pictures.

It is pretty cool. Who would have thought inmates would be allowed to play video games and send picture via email? I would truly appreciate your help, Pastor. Thank you in advance.

C.B.

Dear C.B.,

If anyone is interested in corresponding with you, I will give them your information.

Pastor
